It was a cold day in Custer National Forest and neither the sky nor the buffalo were cooperating.

I should note that I could have compensated for that. I wanted to shoot inside the opening in the rock that you see in the middle photograph; however, everyone in my family made me stop before I got one quarter of the way there.
