They sometimes stretch into the actual hurricane. Sometimes you have to walk your dog in a tropical storm force wind, drunk. And then, you walk back in and find out you are going to be walloped with a three instead of a two.

Sometimes you are glad you put up the shutters before you drank all that beer.

So to make a long story short, my body isn’t producing enough of two hormones related to hair growth. I am not really keen on the idea of taking synthetic ones for something so vain as hair. It started out as a small bald place on my chin. After that I had a small patch of hair near my hairline fall out. I vowed that if there were any more on my scalp I was going to shave it all off.

Yesterday she found more.

She had a lot of fun shaving it all off.

I can’t imagine the devastation that involved with bringing about the deaths of tens of thousands of human beings. The television has shown me entire high rise buildings reduced to piles of brick and twisted metal. There have been reports of entire villages being destroyed.

Schools collapsing on children.

Hospitals collapsing on patients.

Sadness.
