Hurricane Watching
So we spent Gwendolyn’s thirtieth birthday deciding which things we simply couldn’t live without and packing them into two small boxes. We then took those two boxes, along with some clothes, computers and various sporting goods to my cousin’s house to hide out on the other coast of Florida—the one Charley hit. We had a tough time finding gas last night but eventually did and made our way across. If I hadn’t found gas last night I would be stranded at home as the main fuel distribution center, Port Everglades, is shutting down at 8 A.M.
If this site goes down it’s because it is served by an iMac that is now sitting in a closet in Logan’s bedroom and A.) our house lost power, B.) our cable went out or C.) our shit blew away. A or B would be preferrable.
If you are down here too, stay safe.
