01. Data Visualization

Currents of Progress

This exercise utilizes the D3.js library to construct a fluid chronological visualization. It maps the impact of significant cultural, technological, and historical events throughout the 20th and 21st centuries, transforming dense data points into a steady, observable flow that tracks how one era's progress ripples into the next.

03. Generative Systems

ChaosVector

A generative art engine designed for experimental output. By inputting a seed, users can trigger complex algorithmic visual patterns based on predefined geometric shapes or their own uploaded files. It functions as an unpredictable sandbox—simply mashing buttons allows the system to surprise the user with unique, generative storms of imagery.

05. Digital Craft

IntaglioEngine

An exploration into digital printmaking that generates traditional plate engraving styles from standard photographs. The interface offers extensive fine-tuning and customization options, allowing for precise control over line density, cross-hatching, and shadow weight to mimic the physical quality of old-world metalwork.

06. Emotional Release

CathARTic

A generative art void built for the act of rage typing. It provides a space to push internal frustrations directly into a digital interface, translating the energy of the input into an abstract piece of art. Once the feelings are left behind, the resulting visual artifact can be downloaded as a unique digital souvenir.

07. Throwback

Xorex

A machine for forgetting in slow motion. Feed it anything — a face, a document, a diagram — and it will systematically dismantle it through the physics of repetition. Each generation compounds the previous one's failures: contrast crushes midtones, toner bleeds into neighboring pixels, grain accumulates grain. What starts as signal ends as texture. The image doesn't degrade so much as it metabolizes itself, leaving behind an artifact that remembers the shape of something without remembering what it was.

08. Throwbackier

Zork I, II, & III

The original descent. Three games, one underground empire, no mercy. Before walkthroughs, before save states, before games explained themselves — there was Zork. You typed. The dungeon replied. Infocom's trilogy drops you into a vast subterranean world with nothing but a brass lantern and your own vocabulary. Find the treasure. Survive the dark. Don't feed the grue.
